Meet the experienced Hellis team

HELLIS aim is to provide proactive solutions for all aspects of the management of amenity trees. Headed by principal consultant Nick Hellis and supported by a team of independent like-minded professionals, we're based in Dorset and primarily cover the South and South West of England.

At HELLIS we always put the client's needs first and look at the entire project, finding the best possible solution to the task at hand. As such, we have expanded our offering to incorporate landscape architecture services delivered by Katherine Jones.

 

Nick Hellis

Nick Hellis - Founder

Nick has over 30 years of practical, managerial and consultancy experience, gained by working both for and with the private and public sectors. During this time he has achieved his National Certificate in Horticulture (Arboricultural option) and Higher National Certificate in Arboriculture from Bournemouth University.

With a strong commitment to continuing professional development, Nick is currently studying for the Professional Diploma in Arboriculture with the Awarding Body Consortium and is a member of the Arboricultural Association and the Consulting Arborist Society.

 

David Kelly, Hellis Tree Consultants

David Kelly

David has 15 years’ experience as a CAD Technician providing the complete range of drawings required for every aspect of design and construction, ranging from a single story extension to large mixed use developments and utility-scale renewable energy projects.

 

 

 

 

Katherine Jones

Katherine Jones - Landscape Architect

Katherine is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute with over 10 years’ experience, working as a landscape architect across the public and private sectors.

Katherine specialises in the planning, design, management, maintenance and monitoring of layouts; offering both form and function of the built environment in urban, suburban, and rural areas, to include; private gardens and public open spaces (parks, streetscapes), housing developments, commercial, industrial and educational complexes..
